Thanks to the incredible support behind our Rebel Loon hoodies and tees, we’re thrilled to announce our next community donation: $1,700 to Christus Victor Lutheran Church in Apple Valley, MN.
Christus Victor is doing remarkable work right here in our neighborhood. Through a strong partnership with nearby schools, they’re supporting the Neighbors in Need initiative—a program focused on keeping local families safe, housed, and supported during challenging times. Every dollar donated goes directly toward rent assistance, housing stability, and essential utility support for families who are struggling to stay afloat. There’s no overhead, no administrative deductions—100% of the funds go directly to helping families maintain safe and stable housing.
What makes this partnership especially meaningful is the way Christus Victor and local educators work hand‑in‑hand. School staff help identify families facing the most urgent needs, ensuring that support reaches those who need it most—quickly, quietly, and compassionately.
Thank you again for helping make a real difference for our neighbors.

This donation comes by recommendation of our friend, assistant, and Chief Excitement Officer, Jennifer. Thanks to her, we’re proud to share that RN Craftworks has donated $500 to PROP in Eden Prairie, MN.
PROP (People Reaching Out to People) supports more than 1,200 families in Eden Prairie and Chanhassen by providing both food and short‑term emergency financial assistance. Their volunteers “Pack with a Purpose,” assembling boxes of essential items that community members can pick up through PROP’s convenient Curbside Express program.
Beyond these essential boxes, PROP also operates a Food Mart, giving families the dignity and flexibility of choosing what fits their needs. In response to community demand, they’ve even expanded their services to include proxy shoppers and enhanced curbside options—meeting people with compassion and practicality.
PROP also participates in the Empty Bowls fundraiser, a community‑driven event where art, food, and service come together to raise awareness and funds to fight food insecurity. It’s a beautiful reminder that creativity and care can strengthen the fabric of a community.
People, food, and art—these are things that bring us together. Supporting an organization that unites all three is a privilege we’re grateful to take part in.

As we pass $4000 in donations raised (you guys are awesome!) and we’ve hit our stride on hoodie and tee shirt production, it’s time to start putting these funds to good use! Our first donation of $1750 will go to one of our personal favorites: La Viña
La Viña Community Church in Burnsville, MN has become a lifeline for immigrant families facing rising costs, uncertainty, and the daily stress of navigating life under increased immigration enforcement. Every Monday, their volunteers come together to host a free, drive‑through food distribution that provides fresh produce, dairy, and essential groceries to anyone who needs them. This effort—powered by partnerships with organizations like the Sanneh Foundation, CAP Agency, Second Harvest Heartland, and South Metro Vineyard Church—creates a dependable source of stability for families who may otherwise go without. And for many immigrant households who feel unsafe leaving home, La Viña’s long‑standing food distribution ministry helps reduce that fear by offering a safe, welcoming place to receive support.
When we donate to La Viña, the funds go directly toward these hands‑on efforts. Their volunteers sort donations, pack boxes, carry groceries, and prepare deliveries—simple acts of service that, together, make a profound difference in the lives of underserved neighbors. But La Viña’s impact goes beyond groceries. The church is also a trusted local resource for rent assistance—practical, urgent help that keeps families housed and secure during difficult moments. These efforts mirror the kind of community care we believe in at RN Craftworks: people showing up for one another, offering dignity, warmth, and compassion when it’s needed most. Supporting La Viña means investing in a community that refuses to leave anyone behind—and we are proud to stand with them in that mission.

Thanks again to everyone for your support!
