Who
we are

Hi! I’m Ryan Nelson — a craft hobbyist from Apple Valley, MN. RN Craftworks started as a simple home for the charitable projects my family and I love to create. Together with a supporting cast of passionate humanitarian activists (dance moms) and lovable kids with big hearts (dance kids), we make handmade items to support causes that help keep our neighbors fed, warm, and safe.

RN Craftworks projects are a little unpredictable — both in timing and in what we decide to make — but that’s part of the fun. Most of what we create is sewn or screen‑printed, often inspired by our love for Minnesota, equity, or inclusivity. Follow us on social media to stay in the loop on new projects, announcements, and where your contributions go. Donations will be added to the Donations page as they occur.

Zero Profit Apparel is the clothing branch of our business. The idea is simple: offer high‑quality, on‑trend apparel at the same price you’d find at a big box store — but with a portion of the proceeds going to a charitable cause. We’re meticulous about choosing the best garments, and every design gets a final approval from a panel of extremely selective teenagers. Donation amounts are always listed in the product descriptions and are typically 25% or more of the purchase price. We never charge for our labor and only look to recoup material and operating costs.

Past donations include 360 Communities Lewis House, The Trevor Project, and The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. We’re open to suggestions, so if you have a cause you are passionate about that aligns with our goals, please send us your recommendations.

Thank you for supporting our family projects and helping us do a little good in the world. Your kindness genuinely makes a difference. 🌟
